I know it's a tangent, but we no longer go with Kohler faucets and prefer Grohe for the style and durability.

We have a fire clay sink that cracked the second week we had it. I will never buy another white sink again. They’re disgusting.

In my next house I’ll do a stainless steel sink and if DH protests I’ll do the fake farmhouse with marble in front. IDK why men love farmhouse sinks so much.

This is what I would do too.
Haven't had the clay but have had copper and still think the stainless steel is the best. And it will get scratched so just calm down. It's a sink.

I've done both, loved them both. It was a matter of size and the layout needs. One was farm house the other was undermount.

Is the cast iron covered in enamel?

Because if you don't keep it greased and seasoned, cast iron can rust.

I’ve been reading and they both have their pros and cons. I would love to hear from people that have them and your thoughts or regrets etc. I’m thinking about getting one in an off white color but am having trouble deciding. Thanks!
