I have a large single basin black enameled Kohler overhung sink installed in 2004. It is vibrant and glossy everywhere but the bottom. The bottom is grey from wear on the gloss. I honestly haven't tried to buff it or polish it because nobody cares. But I would wonder if a white enameled sink would show a lot of marks.
Side note: my two Kohler faucets have been lemons.
