I took a look at their methodology. This seems to be the same rankings after controlling for free speech.

Another ranking tell you US News ranking is best.

This correctly recalibrates some schools, e.g., JHU, but obviously the work of a Penn grad.

Another ranking showing proof that usnews accurately ranks Reed college. Reed should be federally indicted for misinformation

It’s a list, put together by someone which roughly tracks the already known. It’s not a bad list but it says nothing new. The top R1s are the top R1s and the top SLACs are the top SLACs. One could quibble with it but why, there is nothing new.

Of course, how each of these categories is defined is not immediately obvious.
