How would I know if I have tears. The GYN did not say I did. I went in because I got a giant cyst. I had no clue what it was!

My dose is just 1/2 gram. Maybe you can try that first.

You may not need the full dose twice a week, and especially not the two-week daily “loading dose” often recommended—many women don’t and are irritated by that amount.

Many apply a pea-size amount topically/externally, and a pea-size amount internally, twice a week.

Also, once the tissue begins to improve, the cream may not absorb as readily (which might also improve side effects).

I think the gastro upset, especially at higher doses, can happen at first, but it probably shouldn’t continue long-term—check with your doctor if it does.

My mom started it a few months ago, and she also complained about the side effects. Mainly abdominal pain and cramping. The days she was applying it, she looked (and felt) sick.

This cream made a big difference to me with discomfort during intercourse- for the better. I had none of the side effects you listed. FYI and TMI?- after a few times I also started applying without the applicator for a more local and cleaner application?
Otherwise I would recommend talking to your doctor.

Are you sure you got the right cream?

I'd call the doctor before using it again.

How much, just 1 gram? That's weird. Talk to Doctor. Do you have tears or breaks in vaginal lining?

Hi. Has any one had a reaction or side effects from using this cream? Due to vaginal discomfort and cysts forming, my GYN prescribed the cream. I am to insert it every night for 2 weeks and then twice a week thereafter. Last night was my first dose. This morning I woke up with intestinal cramping, dizziness, and a racing heart rate. It did improve as the day went on but I still don’t feel quite right. Could it be the cream? I am afraid to use it again tonight!
