I have 2 items so far. A Lolita “70” wine glass and Tata Harper hydrating floral essence, which is my go-to gift for women.

Either an experience---lunch out and a museum trip or something like that, or something consumable. Or like PP said, something you'd want to inherit. I'd go for the lunch/experience.

Do you have an old photograph that would be/is special to her? Some sort of memory that she hasn't thought of in years? You could buy a nice frame on Amazon and give her that.

No perfume. Unlike the PP's experience, my mom has become hypersensitive to odor/fragrance.

Honestly, the WORST gift to get someone in this age range is perfume IMO. Their sense of smell diminishes as they get older and they tend to spray way too much until they are literally walking around in a cloud of scent which often lingers even when they've left.

It's especially problematic when they go out to restaurants and really overdo it, and the rest of the patrons nearby have to deal with it ruining their meals.

It’s my mother’s 70th birthday. She has everything she could possibly want and I just thought her a very nice perfume as a Mother’s Day gift. I’ve run out of time to get something personalized or custom made this year for her birthday
