Or there are other schools where there is less pressure to be in AAP and hyper accelerate and fewer kids are taking A1H in 6th grade. Our local ES did not have enough kids to have an in person class so most of the people interested are not placing their kids in the class. There were enough kids to have an in person class but the vast majority said no.
I fully expect the schools were there is angst about AAP to be filled to the brim in A1H while the rest of the County has a different response.
