First you spray a little cardboard card. If you both like the way the card smells, spray the wrist. If that seems good, spray the neck. I made a big point of smelling her neck..Eventually we found a perfume we both liked a lot and she smelled amazing.

If the whole house smells of it, he's putting on WAY too much. If I can smell someone's perfume after they've left a room, or in any circumstance other than a hug, it's too much. Lots of folks need to dial it back. It's easy to get acclimated to your own perfume and overdo it. You need to tell him bc he is for sure offending others who don't have the standing to tell him he smells like a Persian car salesman.

I love perfume, and buy tiny samples from specialty stores online before choosing larger bottles. The selection in brick and mortars is minuscule compared to the sum total of what's out there. I have a ton of perfume, and pick one every day based on mood. I don't put a lot, so basically it's just me smelling it. If he loves his perfume, get him a non-spray version so he needs to dab it on - it won't be so offensive to others.
NP but I’m curious where you are able to purchase samples? I’d love to do this!
