No doubt from a mom who will go on to splash social media about her daughter's commitment to sit the bench at Colgate.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:What are the "others" schools? 28 Blue Class:
4 Potomac
3 NCS
3 SJC
2 Holy Child
2 Visi
2 Battlefield
1 SSSAS
1 STAB
5 Others
29 Blue Class:
5 NCS
3 Holy Child
3 SR
3 SJC
2 SSSAS
2 Visi
1 Potomac
4 others
Some observations:
NCS has 8 Blue team players. I can see why some are saying they are "stacked" as they enter the higher division. They should have a good year next year.
Where are the SSSAS girls? The 26 and 27 Blue teams had a bunch of Saints girls. The lower classes look thin. Or are they all on Orange ready to be pushed up given sudden improvement?
Holy Child and SJC have more girls than usual. Looks like both programs are ticking up. SJC looks to be gaining on GC.
Potomac looks to have a strong 28 class.
Only 3 SR girls as they seem to have a pipeline to other teams.
No GC girls. There used to be at least some representation.
As more DMV players venture to other clubs north, has there been a dilution of the Capital talent pool? The recent club rankings suggest that could be the case, but time will tell.
It will be interesting to see who is selected for the 2030 Blue team.
My guess are public high schools. Deemed not worthy to be listed.

2027 Cap Blue:
5 SSSAS (their demise may have been exaggerated)
3 SR
3 Potomac
2 GC
1 SJC
1 Bullis
1 HC
1 Visi
1 HA
1 PVI
1 AS
1 Maret!
1 St John Paul
And PP's point stands re other clubs. See eg 2027s from M&D Black and/or Hero's Green who will have leading roles at SR (maybe POY), GC, SJC, and Visi. And Cap Orange at SJC, PVI, and Visi.
Visitation has a whopping 5 CB players on it’s varsity team? That does not look good for their prospects next year. I thought that was the big Cap Blue school?
Yes, it used to be 5 or more Capital (B&O) each year at Visi. Visi and NCS are switching places.
Was not counting orange. Blue are the impact players. Also, NCS may beat Visi but they are going to have a rude welcome next tear to AA ball.
Plenty or orange players that are impact players. thats an ass comment. Give me the top 5 orange players over some of the bottom blue players any day. Many times they are equal if not better players. I have seen it at each year.
