I rarely post on social media, but anytime I have, I get permission to post a friend/relative and I never post children.

I don't see this as something to be "livid" over.

Did she tell her family she didn’t want pictures posted? I am sure someone else posted pictures of my wedding before I did, and honestly it never crossed my mind to be upset or even think twice about it.

Posting a pic of yourself dressed up for the wedding? I don't have a problem with that. Posting any pics with the bride and groom or anything else? Rude.

How do you feel about relatives posting your wedding photos before you have a chance to and without asking permission? I tend do be very conservative about posting due to the job I have here in DC and personally never post anyone without their permission but totally baffled that my friend (who is on her honeymoon with no phone access)’s whole family has posted EVERYTHING publicly. I know the friend is going to be livid but is this overkill?

Is this not common courtesy anymore?
