There's a french thing called "savory cake" (cake salé) with ham and green olives and cheese. It's so easy to whip up, but if I do, I'm going to make myself sick on it probably while it's still hot (even though it's better room temp). Cannot control myself.

Bread. Any loaf of bread. Juat the smell of it baking makes my mouth start watering. No doubt I would sit down and eat the entire loaf out of the oven, warm with melted butter

Pretty much any type of cookies or brownies. What I do now is I divide the batch in half and half immediately goes into the back of the freezer where hopefully I can forget about it. Then I set out the rest for the family. They will devour it faster than I can which keeps me in check. One of my all time favorites is no bake chocolate peanut butter cookies and I’ve been majorly craving them for weeks but holding off on making them as they aren’t big movers with my kids or DH. That means I will have the opportunity to consume an entire batch in 3 days which is too dangerous.

I made a 9x13 pan of baklava at Christmas to share with friends. They never got a single piece.

Some recipe I got many years ago for granola bars. I thought it would be nice to make a healthier version. My God they are good. DD's friend dubbed them crack bars. I can't make them anymore because I will eat the whole thing, and then they become not so healthy...

1. Lasagna. My teen daughter was aghast that I wolfed down three full portions the last time I made it. It doesn't help that usually I have a hankering during my PMS.

2. Lime bars (or cranberry bars, or lemon bars). I will eat an enormous quantity, and have a stomach ache after. But no regrets.

I make lasagna only a few times per winter, and I try to similarly limit the sour desserts.

Omg this is me. That is nuts. I can eat half a lasagna and an entire key lime pie. These are literally the only 2 foods I have no self control over.

PP you replied to. We should get together to eat our lasagna and lime desserts, so no one judges us. You get half, I get half

Agree, and I'm not talking about homemade or gHiRaRdElLi BrOwNiEs.

I'll scarf down $1.25 basic Duncan Hines brownies. Especially those corner pieces

Are you familiar with the "all edges" pan? Williams Sonoma makes a version. If I had one of those...

Chex mix. Homemade with all the butter and seasonings, and only the stuff I like in it. I use goldfish crackers and goldfish pretzels. And parmesan crisps.
