Are they firing the teachers who don't break the law first?

Can someone explain what this is about? I don't want to trash talk someone without knowing what they did exactly.

Why does this surprise you at all? She and the others are terrible. Who knows what kickbacks they are getting. She doesn't care that people are losing their jobs or she'd demand accountability.

They promise honesty and transparency, but we get neither once they’re elected.

That sounds really bad but can you please provide some examples to clarify what you mean? Some of us haven’t followed it that closely.

Honestly, do they read and actually follow through line by line what's going on with spending? At every meeting you ever watch which frankly is hard to even watch anymore, it seems like the Boe has been instructed not to ask the hard questions and occasionally insert a question for the sake of asking a question and the rest of the time just agree with whatever someone is saying. If you can't put the energy it should require to be a BOE, don't apply!

Rivera-Oven spent MCPS Operating Budget money under the table. Now MCPS staff have lost their jobs.
