I think i might be the only person in the world who actually put on weight on the 1.5 mg dose. Ive upped to 4 mg and am losing weight slowly - but so far its only the weight i put on.![]()
I gained weight on the shot at .25 (starting shot dose) and did not gain or lose on .5 or 1.0. First 1.7 shot tomorrow and really hoping this does it. My doctor says we can always switch to Zepbound, which works better, but it is even more expensive. My insurance does not cover it despite being obese and having (a little) high cholesterol.

I progressed through the first three doses of Wegovy with absolutely NO reduction in food noise or less wanting to eat junk food. It was only through sheer willpower I managed to lose a few pounds, which I could have done without the drug and spending a lot of money since it’s not covered by my drug plan.
I moved to Zepbound, which has two kinds of drugs. Again, on the lowest dose, no effect at all. I started the next higher dose last week and finally feel a tiny lessening in the urge to eat and lost a pound more easily this week. No gastrointestinal side effects, but it’s so disappointing. My primary care doctor prescribes it.
