Anonymous wrote:The last I heard, they were trying to claim the elementary early releases were necessary because of the teachers contract or something but there was some movement (not sure if it will be supported enough though) to limit early releases to 8 per year. And that would include the 2 hour end of quarter early releases, so elementary would be left with 4 early release days instead of the monthly ones we have now. Which, if they can put them in months we don’t have weather issues or longer breaks (so like, September - November and then April/May), wouldn’t be too bad I guess. But they really should just go by the wayside completely if possible …
