Mon Ami Gabi only if you want to experience food poisoning before you’ve even paid the check.

Salt Line in Bethesda is also good.
And agree with Millies but it can be loud and crowded.

Also Aventino in Bethesda

Or Bistro Aracosia in Palisades

I live in Georgetown + agree that these are all good suggestions. I would add Lupo Verde on McCarthur (we had a nice group Christmas dinner there when most nearby restaurants were closed + I didn't to cook).

If you want something more " low brow" for your group, there is always Cactus Cantina + Maggianos.

Are you insane. Cactus Cantina sucks. Guapo’s is better

Thalia is Horrible! I almost died from food poisoning from there. They did nothing when I called to let them know.

Guapos food isn’t great, but the atmosphere is and it’s not as loud as Cactus Cantina, which would be helpful for the 70yos. They’re also very friendly there.

What about Matisse, Masala Art, or Bucks? All great food, not too loud, and friendly.

I love Ivy City Smokehouse. And bonus points, the Freedom 250 crowd would have a heart attack if someone took them to Ivy City.

Looking for a restaurant for 6 people ages 9-75. Trying to avoid downtown next weekend due to UFC/freedom250 crowds, but could swing 14th street restaurants.
