I'm repulsed by the idea of people sending their kids to a school to improve their own personal social standing in any way, but I am genuinely enjoying the new people it has brought into my life. Such a breath if fresh air after a lot of my close circle moved away with Covid and I was struggling to meet new friends with my attention mostly on the little one in my arms.

Uhhh, this is absolutely not the case at our so-called Big 3.
Since you call them “Big 3” there is a big red flag indicating the stepford parents syndromes

The most Stepford school around here is 95% white and there is a significant contingent of wealthy families who are Instagramming their perfectly color coordinated pictures of their 3 kids before attending school events, attending dress up days, etc.

There is very little room for honest discussion. If you raise a concern, people act as if you are being negative rather than simply describing reality. It sometimes feels less like a school community and more like a social performance.
Is it the same in your school?
