I click and then see they are all 100% polyester. I've just stopped clicking at this point.

Influencers are trying to make money. They aren’t about selling quality products. Stop watching TikTok.

1. J see a cute outfit and click the link. Often, the clothes linked are not even the outfit pictured.
2. The clothes (especially dresses and tops) are nearly always polyester.
3. Items rarely have avg 4 star reviews or above and often have a “this item is frequently returned” warning.

It’s frustrating! I’m happy to someone to make money from affiliate links because they put together a nice outfit for me. But they never actually link anything good when you actually dig in!

I don’t want a subscription service. Does anyone know any influencers who link cute outfits that are actually reasonable quality, fit and feel?

There is no such thing. Get off the internet and take yourself shopping.

There are actually some cute things on Amazon. I get a bunch of those ads and rarely click. However, make sure that the person in the ad is your height weight and body shape. If you are short and heavy, don’t look at the young tall thin one to say “oh that looks cute”. If you have a bigger bust, dont click on things from the stick insect. So i would search on “midsize fashon” or “plus size fashion” or whatever, and then click on those reels for a bit, and the algorithm will start serving up more of that kind of video and you should eventually find one that kind of looks like you and can be a proxy try-on model. Yes, most clothes are polyester. That’s true everywhere.

Like when you click a headline and it doesn't go to the headline story. Infuriating!

I am the opposite of you. I won’t blindly follow an instagrammer because her outfit looks cute. They are selling a product and are no different than Amazon. First of all, the majority of the instagram women are very lean, long legs and look great in most clothes. If you can’t locate the product from their page, screen shot it and use google reverse lookup to assist. In general, I find shopping online frustrating. I like to touch the fabric and often try on 2 sizes before deciding which looks best on me.

Check out her Instagram sodoku packing template. I think you have to comment to get the links?

I’m sure you can just click her LTK for the links. No way is an influencer going to require engagement for links.
