Depends on the book. I also read before bed. Could be 15 minutes or 30. If it’s an engaging book like “I Heart the Lover” I’ll read until I can’t keep my eyes open.

It varies. Usually 15-30 minutes before bed. More on the weekends. I don’t track the pages.

Sometimes nothing but work and SM, other days I devour an entire book (300-500 pages) in one night. Truly varies

About the same. It comes out to 60-70 books a year.

I’m a slow reader, averaging 30 pages/hr (for a typical print hardcover, with variation depending on page size, font, density, prose complexity, fiction/NF). I can make myself read faster, but don’t enjoy it—so I do this very rarely…only if trying to get through a dull or emotionally tough passage for a book club book that I’m behind on or not enjoying.

Last year I read at least 25 min/day (so minimum of ~15 pp, but often quite a lot more). Q1 this year I scaled back to open up time for neglected personal projects, but have ramped back up and am now 20-30 pp/day (plus 1-3 hours listening per week, depending on chores).

If really varies. If the book is really engaging, 100 pages or more. If the book is a slog, I’ll be happy to read 10-15. Most days, I probably read 30-50. I read while on the elliptical and for a few minutes at bedtim, so for maybe 45 minutes a day.

My goal is 50, but I really try to get closer to 70. If 50 is tough and it's because of the book, it's a DNF. I read in ~20 page increments a few times a day.

I log my reading on Goodreads and for the last 5 years or so my end-of-year wrap up has said I've read about 30,000 pages which is about 84 pages a day. I read a mix of classics, lit from award lists, historical fiction/mysteries for something lighter, and nonfiction.

I work full time, have two busy teens, and reading is my main hobby.

I read almost every but I don't track my reading.
