My kid wanted one for her birthday too. A relative out of state was able to find them in Target.

We got one at a beach souvenir shop last year. It popped though.

The ACE hardware in Takoma has had some behind the counter over the last week. I’ve been in and out, owing to some ongoing projects, and it seems like the inventory turns over daily.

Weird because my kids have had them for years and I bought them in the checkout line at Kohls. Why the shortage?

You will not find it anywhere. There is a nationwide shortage. We have spent months looking with no luck. There are places that occasionally get a shipment (Child’s Play in DC) but it is gone in a day. You could call and ask to be notified when a shipment arrives but no guarantees they will call.

Did you check Childs play in McLean or the local paper sources? Also hollin hall variety in Alexandria regularly gets them in but they fly out of there
