Most people in our neighborhood pass clothes along to neighbors, the people who try to sell tend to not sell.

Look for a shelter or a foster kid support group If you do donate.

It used to be much easier pre Covid. There were tons of local Facebook groups and people paid enough that it was worth the effort. Then people stated flaking and lowballing and I just gave up. No I donate to of the places that comes to my porch.

Just between Friends, price aggressively sticking to their guide sold everything. It’s 2x a year around here.

I sell on Poshmark. Mostly Zara and J Crew. Seasonal higher end outwear like The North Face, Patagonia, UGGs and Hunter Boots do well too. I make bundles and discount heavily when people like the listing.

Kid2Kid is fine if you shop there and want the store credit. You can bring it and shop while they look through. I would say they pay 50 cents to $2 per piece but they are very selective - if they already have plenty of inventory in that size or gender they may not take most of what you bring in, even if it's in great condition.

Yes, facebook marketplace. I bundle clothes by size season and season sell all priced at about $2 an item. If I don't have a lot to offload I'll just donate single items for free on buy nothing.

Do seasonal bundles by size. Or by brand, since there are brands people might pay more for (Boden, HA, Primary, Tea Collection, Ralph Lauren, etc.). IMO it's not worth going more granular.

I don't have patience for FB people haggling and dealing with a bunch of messages. Sometimes the semi-anonymous nature of it will make people ask for ridiculous discount on already super discounted things. Not worth it. I find neighbor to neighbor is better.

I just passed along two rain jackets the other day, one for free and one for $10 (originally $30+). Same brand but one was a smaller size I know they'll get little wear out of since little kids grow so fast.

Ebay is too much work though. I would rather do the FB marketplace pickup even if it sells there for less.

I tried ThredUp and it wasn't worth it at all.

$2 a piece? I was browsing FB and people are selling for $1 and $1.50 a piece, as part of a bundle.

For Kid2Kid, what kind of clothes do they take? Like new condition only or is good condition also okay?

I did it on eBay years ago, so I don't know if that's still a thing.

Thank you! For bundles on facebook - is it better to do a mix and match with all kinds for the season or do pants or shorts, tops, dresses separately if they are not part of a set? How to price these? I have Carters, Oshkosh, Gymboree.

I have many clothes my DC wore just a few times and it looks like new. Before donating it I want to try selling these. I googled and found Kid2Kid. Anyone used them? How do they price the clothes and do they pay same day when we drop off? Any other places I can try and how do I price these - how much for dresses, clothing sets and single pieces like sweaters or jackets?
