OP here. I never do. But it’s intrusive to knock/ring after the first time. It’s just straight audacity. Like i’m going to change my mind after I ignored the first time?

There is a seat control company walking around my neighborhood in the last week. I have a sign that usually works, but two of them have knocked and waited a long time. No car, they were on foot. It was creepy. I was tempted to call the police and have them check to see if they are permitted but I thought it was too Karen like.

Get a big, mean dog.

OP here, and I actually think that might be it.

But the knocking and ringing more than once is absolutely obnoxious regardless of the lack of vocabulary knowledge.

Also to the person who said call the business, it’s not even apparent what the business is. It’s one of those generic guys who ride those ridiculous scooters (the ones that are just feet sized without a handle) carrying a clipboard with no name badge. Different batches of them come to my neighborhood every couple of months.

My doorbell note says NO! directly in the button.

I did tell one guy off and it was obvious I was furious, he ran away.

I would open the door and tell them off. There are very funny videos of this on tiktok lol.

And the sign is exactly where they have to press the doorbell (ring camera) so they cannot miss it. What is this a “signs don’t apply to me thing?” I never answer. But the knocking and ringing to door bell more than once is the insane part to me. Also, this time it was at 7:30pm wtf? I don’t have very young kids anymore but if I did I probably would have opened the door and been beyond angry.
