I assure you that you can find a doctor to prescribe you a GLP-1 even if you don’t need it, so long as you’re willing to pay out of pocket.

Yeah, they’re going to tell you to change your diet and maybe if that doesn’t work, tell you to get on cholesterol meds. They won’t prescribe a GLP1 for that.

It’s $129 without insurance for an appointment. I pay my copay of $20 per visit plus $20/mo in the membership fee.

High cholesterol. Healthy menopausal woman- but just below bmi 27. Very active weight lifter, exerciser, healthy eater.

Is there any place that doesn’t require a monthly subscription, but will do a one time visit/consult and prescribe?
