We were last in line for autographs, we waited 4 hours, and Rachel Renee Russell and her daughter sat there until the very end of the festival to sign everyone's book and talk to everyone. Still one of the highlights of my daughter's life!

OP here: We stood in the looong line for John Patrick Green and I was just so delighted to see so many kids that excited about anything book related! My kid was very excited to.

We didn't make it this year, because of activities, but we had a great time last year. My then eight year old went to a talk from Katherine Marsh and discovered a new author she loves.

It's a great event.

We went today for the second year in a row and it’s such a gem. My kids loved seeing authors of graphic novels they had read and I wanted to meet some local authors myself but ended up focusing on kid stuff. Highly recommend!
