This just screams decrepit oldster. Delicious. Of course they weren’t 10 years old.

Please, complain some more!

Tysons is one of the few surviving malls in the area.

And don’t get me started on the 10 year old girls I saw in full faces of makeup, acrylic nails, and highlighted hair…

This is why I default to shopping online and end up returning half the stuff I buy. It’s not good.

Does anyone really enjoy just going to the mall (especially when the weather is so nice?!?!).

End rant…

How do you know the girls are 10 years old? They might be older and just look young. When I was 21 and doing a teaching internship, I would get mistaken for a 7th grader by staff members at the school.

Same.

The girls are probably high school ternagers.

They just look young to you because you are getting old.

Go during the week, it’s not crowded at all.

If the mall was empty rest assured OP would be going on a different rant about that.

Some people like OP are just misanthropic whiners. It’s always something with them.

OP came out of their cave and can’t walk in crowds! They’ve never seen tweens at malls!

THE HORROR! It’s like a whole new species out there!!!! AAAAAAAAAAH!

OP retreats into their cave and resorts to grumbling on DCUM.

You shop online because you fear 10 year olds wearing makeup?

Oh, honey. There’s help for that. Seek it.

How about you take your misogyny and judgment of "10 year old girls" elsewhere?

How about you just stick to your "default" if being out in public is going to rile you up this much?

How about you not get so worked up about a simple statement.

Today was the taste of Tyson’s event, which probably made it more crowded.

There is still plenty of money in NOVA and Tysons is one of the few places where you can still get a mall experience and find plenty of items in brick and mortar to try on and purchase. There’s actually stuff there that people want to buy. I go maybe twice a year for recreational/destressing shopping, usually with a vague idea of “I want some new sandals” or “I need a gift for my friend’s 50th”.

I’m not sure what point you’re making about saying you buy all this stuff online and have to return it, like that’s better somehow?
