He stopped clinical trials cold at NIH, and left patients with implanted devices in their body, unable to seek care at the NIH Clinical Center to take them out. Other patients were on trial drugs and had to stop cold turkey, which some drugs is incredibly dangerous.

He caused confidential information about Americans to be mishandled and possibly stolen for commercial purposes.

He pollutes and damages surrounding neighborhoods of his Space X launchpad and has consistently rebuffed resident complaints.

I agree, he admitted failure at cutting any government spending or having any idea how it works. I'm sure one day he will express his feelings on the thousands of Africans who died because of his DOGE antics.

Everyone should get in on SpaceX since the government is going to be so involved it's basically socialism.

Agreed. He could have bought a few mega yachts, founded some pointless charity, and retired into a rich useless life. Instead, he continues to push the envelope in critical areas of modern life - space access, transportation, communications, and computing.

You may not like his politics, but at least he's taking risks and being rewarded. Most of the other billionaires don't even care anymore.

He had the rules changed so that YOUR funds have to buy it like 6 months after IPO, and they are limiting float to reduce supply which means index buys will squeeze price to ORBIT.

You can’t ignore it, it’s going to hammer any index funds you own.

Banks are "guaranteeing" a baseline level of trading and strong-arming retail investor funds to hold SpaceX on their portfolios. There's only so much demand for satellites and only so much revenue (data centers in space is a pipe dream). This is not about Elon the man (well, it sort of is) but the fact that banks allow such arrangements, SEC turns a blind eye and the Trump admin is fine with it. The grift is gargantuan -- the 5M that Trump traded is chump change compared to this.....

So looks like this 2 trillion behemoth is about to hit like Godzilla rather than the Michelin marshmallow man. The IPO is structured weirdly enough that most 401Ks and pension funds will have considerable exposure and pre-IPO investors can cash in right away. So they make bank and we get caught holding the bag. And apparently the rules are such that Musk gets unfettered control and shareholders have no say over SpaceX. I guess Musk's 200M for the Trump campaign worked out after all. As retail investors (most of DCUM), we can't exactly diversify out of our Vxyz funds. Brace yourself!!
