You tell her that you love her, but you can't live with her anymore. You ask her to please move out within 6 months. As the deadline approaches, you remind her about it. With one month left, tell that you still love her, but that you'll be changing the locks at the end of the month. And then do it if need be.

She is nearly 28. She graduated from SLAC, moved in, and never left. She worked her first post undergraduate job, but she got fired and never returned to work. She hangs around at home. She has friends, a boyfriend, an active social life, goes out and drinks, but that’s about it. She seems content living this way. She’s unproductive and doesn’t contribute to the household, wakes up late, sleeps in.
