I suggest getting up to speed on the mess of youth soccer and then DMV, which is next level craziness. I would focus less on is BRYC good because the crazes will come out in full force on this form and get educated on the pay to play system and what DMV has done to maximize profits and minimize talent consolidation. If you want an even bigger laugh, check out ODP.
The Warhawks were pay to play too…
Seriously? The 1999 warhawks produced Abe Thompson and Clarence Goodson, both of whom played professionally (didn’t Clarence also make the world cup roster one year??) , not to mention about every other guy on that team playing d1 after graduation. I wouldn’t call them pay-to-play. Abe Thompson didn’t need to bribe anyone to let him on their team in the late 90s.

Please share articles that indicates 2001 = to today. Or are you just being argumentative to say that we had to pay something and thus pay to play? All I remember from youth soccer is that my friends Braddock road soccer team won a national championship and sent like all the guys to D1 soccer schools afterwords. Are they still good or have things changed in 25 years?
I even remember the team name. Warhawks. lol.
