I drove by on Rockville Pike soon after it happened. There were tons of police cars and a helicopter. Pretty unnerving that the shooter was (is?) still on the loose.

I hope that was sarcastic. I live in a wealthy Bethesda neighborhood. Crime happens everywhere, and it's understood that certain areas have more or less crime. But sometimes... this happens.
Is it common for people to be shot in the head in your neighborhood in the middle of the day? If you think this is ok, then your standards are very low.
