P.J. Clarke’s on the Hudson: https://pjclarkes.com/menu/on-the-hudson/

The hamburgers are a little expensive for hamburgers. But not that much for a restaurant meal, and the view is lovely. You can walk around after and look at the books.

La Marchande
Blue Ribbon Sushi
Da Claudio
Farida for Uzbek and Kazakh food
Fraunces Tavern, they have a piano bar upstairs too.
Joe's Pizza for a slice
Xi'an Famous Foods
Sophie's Cuban Cuisine
Eataly can be satisfying, their pizza and pasta restaurant has great views
Crown Shy has a Michelin star, tiny portions though but reasonable when you go for restaurant week

I enjoyed my lunch at Fraunces Tavern with my kids in the big front dining room. I don't think dinner for two looks financially burdensome compared to similar restaurants in my flyover metro.

George Washington ate there.

Last visit we got takeout Korean "salad bar" from Jubilee Market. Ordinary but filling.

I’m going to visit my DS who will be in NYC for an internship this summer. Any recommendations for dinner in the financial district that won’t put me in the poorhouse (since the rent already is)?
