The true acceptance rate at each of West Point and Annapolis is around 50%.

Carleton is prestigious but not as crazy selective as ivies. 20% acceptance rate is reasonable.

Case Western is prestigious, acceptance rate around 35%. Rochester is similar.

Of course we're mean. Because most universities are in that category, so it's not useful to add a extraneous label to the norm.

I’ve heard Penn State and Purdue are two. What are others?
