My favorite discovery is cuticle oil. I've known about it for years but never thought to get my own. I put it on every night and my nails have never looked better. One small thing to help me feel better in this rapidly decaying body.

My Derm prescribed amonium lactate lotion to help the super dry itchy areas (legs and arms).

More water. Humidifier. Water softener. Don't shower every day. Fish oil capsules. No matter which moisturizer you use, add few drops of glycerin and afterwards lock it with petrolatum.

Weleda Skin Food Night Cream. I use day and night.

If you need even more, can apply their plumping serum first, or apply Zum Facial Oil, or all 3.

NP. Would you mind sharing the brands for the products? Thank you!!

Body oil, face oil and hydrosol are from Evan Healy. I use the blue cactus body oil, Chilean rosehip seed oil and rose geranium hydrosol for my face. But they have a wide range of products for different skin types. https://www.evanhealy.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopBkuWXnPw-KLvanAbdEV2BiC3BFpAcJjVNSuL7P5pB3hfXPO8H
Body butter is from Body Shop (mango or shea)

Are we the same person? I’ve been going through this for the last 3-4 months. All of a sudden all the sensitive skin products I’ve been using for years are making me react. The plainer Vanicream moisturizer was working for a while and the last few days that started stinging as well. The Vanicream with zinc oxide sunscreen seems ok. The Eucerin Antiwrinkle cream with q10 also seems to be causing no reaction right now. I’m not using either everyday though, but kind of sparingly. Other than those, I’m down to plain coconut oil and squalane oil.

Same!

For face my favorite products that have been excellent (after tons of trial and error) are Dr Rogers cream, Marie Veronique barrier restore complex underneath. I layer them. I also love the Marie Veronique oil cleanser and gentle gel cleanser. Typically I just use the oil cleanser though.

For body, I just use drugstore lotion and follow with apricot or almond oil over top.

Never had dry skin in my like and at 54 now it’s like the Sahara. Face and body. And extraordinarily sensitive - everything seems to give me contact dermatitis after a few days. I’ve tried basics like Cetaphil, CerAve, Vanicream, and nothing seems to help. I’ve tried a few more expensive sensitive options from Sephora like Aestura and First Aid Beauty but no help there either.

Any recommendations?
