Anthro or Tuckernuck’s new larger Georgetown store. You could also look at Reformation in Bethesda or Georgetown.

I'm PP who is the same size as OP and Idk how she carries her weight but mine is around my middle and I fear Reformation's silk would be so clingy and gross on me. Hence my recs for places to get mumu dresses.

OP if you actually look good unlike me you should look at reformation.

I’m pretty similar to you (54, 5’2”, 140-145 lbs). I haven’t bought a dress recently, but in the past, I’ve had good luck at Kohl’s. Here’s a link:

+1 for Anthropologie. For weddings, I like to do Nuuly rentals and get a few dresses so I have a back up (plus another outfit or two for the trip).

I need to find a dress for my niece's wedding in June in Maine. Outside wedding and she wants us all to wear maxi dresses. I'm 58, 5"3 and 145 pounds. Want something nice, not matronly. Please give me dress shop recs in this area. I so rarely shop for special dresses. I looked online at Macy's and Nordstrom's but didn't see much.

Thanks!!!
