You mean FLDS. LDS (Mormon) is mainstream and completely different from FLDS.


Went down a Nomz rabbithole on Insta and believe it is both for them. The mainstream Mormon church plays a role in how this fundamentalism is able to survive, they want nothing to do with the white washed version of the scripture they lived.

I do not understand how someone like this Samuel guy gets anyone at all to listen to anything he says, let alone followers. It's bizarre.

The abuse is frightening, but watching this after all of the Epstein files coming out I wonder -- what percentage of men just devolve to this when they have enough power? Given everything I've seen lately, it has to be higher than I would have thought.

Nomz acted like she was drugged in a way, which didn’t make sense because they don’t believe in that. But it was odd.

Warren Jeffs had at minimum 33 sons out of his 60 known children. Some of his children, sons and daughters have spoken out about Warren sexually abusing them.

It makes sense that Nomz is dating a fellow escapee. Being raised in a cult and suffering the many kinds of abuse perpetrated against the victims, having it tied to spiritually and salvation by your community, I think very few people could truly understand.

Yes I saw Keep Sweet, Pray and Obey a while back.

The sheriff claiming they can’t do anything based on that sick recording blew me away.

Please watch the podcast on YouTube (or listen) called Cults to Consciousness. The host is excellent - but she interviews on separate occasions both Christine and one the wives - Nomz - it’s really interesting to hear the backstory of Christine and now how one of the former wives are. He is a horrible horrible man. So much more abuse behind the scenes than talked about on the show. Heartbreaking

Yes it was great. But the whole idea of what goes on there sickens me.

Yes! Thought it was great. Not what happened to the girls obviously, but as a documentary. I've watched a few FLDS documentaries before but they all kimd of end with Warren Jeff's imprisonment so it was super interesting to learn about what was happening afterwards.

Omg. Did anyone watch this? So creepy. I still can’t get it out of my mind. The new FLDS “prophet” had wives ranging in age from 11-15. I believe there was also a 9 year old. He arranged sex orgies where they had to watch each other and their own parents having sex. Also some other men had sec with his wives. Some of the wives are mother and daughter. I am traumatized.

I am still dumbfounded that Samuel allowed them to be filmed by outsiders.
