Same boat here. My DD is a Kori Edmonson and Sam Apuzzo clone. We did a 23&me report and she is related to both, yet superior athletically. She wont make Capital because, you know, politics. So between M&D DC and YJ DMV, whats the better option?

Not sure the goal should be "D1". They are plenty of horrible D1 teams in terrible parts of the country (Cold/snowy) and plenty of very good D3 teams.

Not true. The recruits have literally been posted many times on this forum. All of this information is publically availabe.

Every year, momentum builds behind one team and it's seems like that team is where everyone wants to end up. It was Pride for the 26, Stars for the 27s, Pride again for 28s and last M&DDC.

Try and figure out where there flock is headed.


This isnt a YJ ad and, in reality, no one really cares about those clubs or even where the kids end up. For the most part, but not all its bottom DI, and the kids would probably be better off not playing lax. Sorry if the truth hurts.

The best thing to do is try to get the other overlooked or “bubble” capital players all on one team. That is what Stars 2027 did and it turned out pretty well for them. They had 2 midlevel D1 commits, 1 Tampa commit and 3 or 4 well regarded D3 commits. - not bad considering there wasn’t a strong recruiting culture prior to that year.

Pride Black used to function in the same way. The key is to get all of the overlooked or bubble players in one play on one team.

Can you explain how you calculated these numbers? YJ had two D1 players across the 2026 and 2027 classes, yet you claim that 25% go to Division 1. Stars sent six players to D1 during those same years, but you list 0% for Division 1?

My DD has a shot at orange. I don’t think blue is realistic for her.

Trying to determine the best strategy if she doesn’t make orange. Seems like M&D, Stars or YJ are the best options. Appears all those teams will have July tryouts after Capital. Will the best remaining players migrate to the same team or be spread across them? Not sure if there’s even an optimal strategy here. If capital doesn’t work out we’re hoping to land somewhere with a combination of great coaching and positive teammates.
