Several companies have them, pampers, huggies, luvs, parents choice. My oldest recently turned 8 and is small for his age and very thin, but they fit. He usually wears pullup style but have used them Several times in a pinch.

Mine was 11 when he finally stopped having night time accidents.

Its so much more common than people think. If it wasn't so stigmatized and people talked about it more openly like any other issue kids wouldn't feel bad about it, and parents could lean on friends more.

My DD was 9 when she finally stopped OP. She was and still is a very deep sleeper.

There is a reason why they have a whole section of them in every grocery store. No worries

Mine just graduated at 7.5. Same thing - doctor was not worried. But my kid really wanted to not have the problem anymore. Our family never explored medication, bedwetting alarms, dream pees or any of that--just wasn't for us.

About once a month, we'd try it without the goodnites to see if he could do it. I don't know if it was just the hormone shift he needed finally kicking in, or if there was a helpful feedback loop from actually feeling the wetness of the accidents. (That also motivated him to do a last pee before sleep every night.) it took about 6 months of trying again every several weeks, but eventually he was dry enough days in a row that we didn't use goodnites anymore.

he still has an accident maybe once every month or two? but typically in the early morning so he will clean and change himself then come snuggle with me.

I coped with the transition period by getting the goodnite bed pads, so while we needed to throw sheets in the wash I never had to wash the (waterproof) mattress protector.

He will outgrow it soon enough. I’ve known many kids this age who’ve been through the same thing.

There is nothing you can do. Trust me - I did it all. The meds can help for camp/sleepovers but even they never kept my kid entirely dry.

Puberty finally helped at age 13.5.

More common than people realize. It’s not something you can teach, it happens when there body is ready. Our pediatrician isn’t worried yet either and says sometimes it continues till puberty starts. She did prescribe medication that can be used for sleepovers.

Until he stops just keep providing the pull-ups and keep it desceet as possible.

My son isnt too bothered by it but we treat it very matter of fact. He wakes with a full diaper every morning.

Son is eight almost nine . He still struggles with bedwetting. his dr is not concerend yet. I just keep having him wear goodnites. His older sisters never had this problem it takes a toll on him. I try to buy the goodnites when hes not with me . anyone struggling with bedwetting?
