It was great, and even though it was budget, I felt like they treated all the passengers with respect and dignity. I felt safe flying with my children and transferring in the airport. If you are transferring in the airport and need to fill up your water bottle, the only issue is it can be hard to find where the water station is haha. If arriving to Iceland and then transferring into Europe, there is a little spiral stairwell near the sbarro (I think) and it goes to some bathrooms AND a great water fountain with fresh, Icelandic water. I would also just google it there are pictures online....otherwise, that is the only tricky thing and you will be buying super expensive water, but once you know where it is, it's no problem!
One of the weirdest things about Iceland is there are no McDonald's or Starbucks, but Sbarro and Dominoes are everywhere, along with a UK pizza chain. (You can buy Starbucks drinks in bottles at the Reykjavik Costco. Yes, there's a Costco).
