It is high. I've been on Inner Balance for about 7 months now, am 49 and in late peri, and have had a mostly good experience: many long-standing issues that I didn't realize were hormonal immediately resolved. I went to a women's health NP to talk about the experience, and she said the 3 mg is akin to being back on birth control (not sure I understand). fwiw, if you take Inner Balance's menopause version (not "Start"), it's 0.5 mg. Did you figure out how much progesterone is in it? Because I'm still trying to figure that one out.

OP update -

I dug a little and found on discussion boards that the estradiol would be 3 mg if converted into a patch, which strikes my not a doctor self as really high.

I’m already on HRT but wonder if anyone has been on Inner Balance long-term. The company is marketing to essentially all women over 35, and it’s unique in that it’s a vaginal cream all in one. Part of me feels curious because it’s so easy to get - no blood work apparently ever required, allegedly vaginal delivery systems are often superior to patch/pill/pellet, and it probably winds up slightly cheaper in the long term. However, the women singing the praises of this are very early 40s at most, and it’s not clear what the dosages are, if it’s possible to find out if the cream is just the equivalent of a .5 patch and 100 mg progesterone. Would love to hear from someone on it.
