My adhd kid, yes totally. It’s manageable.

I had a friend with a child with full trisomy 18. She was needed around the clock care and died at 11. I wouldn’t wish that pain on any parent.

Depends which kid? My spacey kid with ADHD inattentive and well managed anxiety? Yes

My kid who died at 10 of a very painful degenerative auto inflammatory condition? No. While I loved him and loved being his mom, no child should live through that.
