Isn’t it like $8 or something a small tube? I’ve never had an issue getting generic covered

I pay around $1-$2 per tube. I pick it up in bulk in India since I travel every few months and then I distribute it like candy to all my friends here. Ditto for rogaine for my DH.

I get mine from ageless RX - I can’t remember how much it is but it takes me forever to get through a tube.

GoodRx is showing $263 with coupon at CVS-- what am I missing?

Keep looking. I usually get for $40 via Goodrx

Mine too, and I asked the derm to add in a couple of extra refills for mom. I was surprised when he actually did it!

At the prices a lot of you are paying it sounds like a yearly Mexican beach might pay for itself in tretinoin savings.

^ I’m 56 and have been using it since I was 20. Insurance stopped covering it for me in my late 40s and w/out insurance at one point they quoted me $500. I did find a de who could get it for $40- but then realized my term gets it cheaper.

I was paying $40 a tube. Then I had a flare-up with adult acne/rosacea a year ago which I tied to stress and spicy foods. My derm was able to write a script that insurance would cover, so now I pay $6. I feel like I won the lottery.

You can also look at retinaldehyde over the counter. Paula’s Choice has a nice version. It’s the closest to Tret without a prescription.

My dermatologist said I shouldn't pay more than $70, but how/where does one get such a price?
