College Counseling is incredible (child is a Junior there and we've already been in contact with them since freshman year). There's some SAT prep but I wouldn't say it's a focus at all. Many families I know have outside support for that. But I think in general a lot more schools are less SAT and ACT focused. In terms of boys/girls - the school in general leans a bit more boy heavy, but my son has plenty of friends that are girls, and I see a lot of ways girls are involved (sports, theater, clubs, leadership positions, etc). It's a smaller social circle but my son still has friends from the neighborhood and his former private school.
