There's not a TON to do, but there are lots of bike lanes, a little area for shopping and food, can always go to the movies, there are some places to kayak, etc. Water is nice in late June. Tons of places to stay but we like the Marriot Vacation Club properties because they have two bedroom suites right on the beach and nice pools.
Hawaii, of course, is always the answer except for the flights!
If you like snorkeling or diving, I might say go all the way down to Key Largo. They've got all the activities like jet skiing, fishing, and have a turtle rescue place, and some good restaurants.
Hilton Head has always been our choice for this because you can drive to Savannah, Beaufort or Charleston, if bored of the beach.
