Are you talking about Sullivan and Cromwell? I've never heard it called that. And are you sure they have family law? That seems unlikely unless it's rich people's prenups.

Other practice areas that may interest you at S&C include personal injury and workers comp. The DC office has large practice groups in these areas according to their advertisements.

lol. Not sure what OP means by “family law” at SullCrom. Not sure OP has shown good judgment in posting all this specific info about herself. For all she knows the person interviewing her is a frequent flyer on DCUM.

I'm a 9th year associate at a small law firm in Rockville focusing on matrimonial law. Have some trial experience under my belt and first chair a lot of motions hearings. Also tons of experience in mediation, etc.

I have a buddy from LS who's in the securities group at SullCrom DC and he got me an interview with the Family Law hiring partner.

Any insight on the firm's DC office?
