The house is unrecognizable from previous photos because it was torn down. Nothing remains from the previous house.

My husband is a realtor and we looked at the previous listing photos and the house is unrecognizable. They completely went overboard with renovations. I grew up near the Kentlands with friends all over that neighborhood. No house in there will ever sell for that ridiculous amount of money.

Way overpriced for the neighborhood and I have always loved the Kentlands and think it has really nice curb appeal. I’d expect this in Bethesda not Gaithersburg. Assuming I could afford a $4m home and wanted to purchase this one, it’s not even turnkey for me. There are some spaces I really dislike so I would probably need to spend even more.

The county records say this is approximately 4900 sq ft above ground, and 1700 sq ft below ground. That's quite a difference with the 11,500 sq ft in the listing.

Yes, I found that interesting. Same with the permitting website.

Someone clearly had it built to their personal tastes and wants, but certainly doesn't mean that will automatically translate in value to a sale at their desired amount. Yikes.

It was purchased as a tear down. The listing is for a totally rebuilt house in 2020. Agree, overbuilt and over priced for the neighborhood.

I don’t get the small bedrooms. Bad design and weird staging. Flip.
