PP. I thought about Google eyes but I would be afraid the kids might not want to see it cut up if it had a face. Kids get weird about that kind of thing.

Berries in a small pail that can later be used in a sandbox?

Small clear closed cup (like the type for cut fruit at sandwich shops) with a little sticker that says Thank You for Celebrating With Me! I like this idea.

I've seen this for big cookies and other food-as-favor options.

Kids like to have something to walk away with and it's not candy or junk so better for parents.

If someone doesn't like or want it, they will throw away as happens with other favors too. I.wouldnt worry about allergies since parents will be at the party. It's just like serving food at the party itself.

I think most kids would love a tub of blueberries or raspberries or similar. Not sure how you do that for a favor though.

I was at a 7th birthday party recently. The host had an impressive display of candies that the kids could scoop themselves. Kids finished off the tubs of berries first. Even my own son was thrilled with all the berries he got. We definitely eat them at home, but he gets a handful at a time and I don’t let him devour the whole thing. I thought it was cute kids were eating those instead of Swedish fish and m&ms.

I'm trying to avoid plastic party favors for my toddler's party. I was thinking of giving a fruit, like melon or strawberries, as a favor. My budget is around $8 per child.

I'm not sure how this idea might be received by other parents.
