We are located in the McLean/Vienna area and may need to assume approximately a one-hour commute to Rockville for weekday practices .

Planning to attendi fall clinics is the best advice you can start with for now. No guarantee that coaches, practice schedules, etc. will be the same next year. Likely you can expect similar numbers of practices and locations, but beyond that hard to predict.

Thanks for the information. My question was about Metro National 15 team😊.

Dd's Metro South team practices at an FCPS MS school. The HS are too busy with their own sports and ES gyms are too small or the basketball hoops are in the way. We didn't know which MS until right before practice/season started bc Metro couldn't get a confirmation from FCPS on the gym-use rental contract.

Fwiw, there was info at the parents mtg during try-outs with the most likely/possible MS gyms for practice and the respective time slots so we had an idea of what logistics would look like, but had to wait until the acceptance email until practice location and time confirmed.

Are you talking Metro N, E, or W...? Since that's a wide range and span various counties and into MD, I cant vouch for how they do it.

From what I’ve seen, practice locations can vary widely across the DC/MD/VA area, and there isn’t much detailed information available on the website.

Because this area is heavily traffic-congested, I’d really like to understand the likely practice locations before considering tryouts for next season.
