My child (and all her friends) did prep with Mindworks and it was a good experience, they offer 1-on-1 and her score went up 150 points.

We're dealing with a similar summer camp + prep situation. For the structured test prep, a virtual 1:1 tutor who can flex around camp hours might be your best bet - we had good luck finding options on Wyzant when we needed scheduling flexibility.

For the vocabulary piece specifically, my husband built an app called Vocab Voyage (https://vocab.voyage) that's been great for us. It turns vocab study into short game-based sessions - word challenges, speed rounds, crossword-style exercises — and uses spaced repetition so the words actually stick. The nice thing is your son can do it on his phone in 10-15 minute bursts between camp activities. No scheduling coordination needed.

Compass prep. Online 1:1. Great diagnostic tools to focus prep, and awesome tutors. Expensive but effective. They tutored my kid when they were abroad over the summer. I think my kid started at 1300 and got 1520 in one shot so we were extremely happy. May need to start soon even before canp begins. Worth a call to discuss.

Yes. I’ve already cleared it with camp. He’ll have access to a computer in the office during rest period. This is his last year in camp and he will be more staff than camper.

My son will need some help over the summer. The catch is that he will be at summer camp. He needs a virtual program or 1:1 coaching via zoom. He got a 780 on the math section so I feel like we can ignore math. Verbal is another story though--640; he'll need all the tips, tricks, and practice he can get. I'd like him to take the Aug test.
