That’s what I’m thinking too. Why collect photos of the card and there is no way they’re securely storing this information. They are a real UPS store per Google.


Can you call the UPS and ask them how to arrange this?

That’s what I’m thinking too. Why collect photos of the card and there is no way they’re securely storing this information. They are a real UPS store per Google.

I bid on something at an auction house and the auction house wanted a photocopy of my ID and credit card prior to allowing me to bid. I offered my ID but felt uncomfortable letting them take a photo of my card. I ended up being able to use a 3rd party website to bid with them without giving them these things and won and paid for the item. They don’t ship themselves and refer me to a local to them UPS store who has asked for the same. My shipping charges are $35. Why would they also be asking for these photos? This screams scammy right?
