Not in my market - and I agree OP, it’s irritating. I would love to pop in for an afternoon class but alas, no such luck.

My OT market doesn't either though I wish they did.

Me too, it's the perfect time for me after doing work and before getting kid. I would love a Bikram class 2-3:30pm if anyone is reading this !

OP said that she would find classes more motivating. Could you do late morning classes, say between 10:30-12:30? You may be exercising with a primarily older crowd however it's okay to modify up. There are people in my classes that are definitely in their 20's and 30's. They seem to be happy.

My gym (YMCA) doesn’t have any classes between 1-6 pm. Super annoying because it makes dinner a challenge. I suck it up since it’s in such a convenient location, and do two 6 pm classes during the week plus an am class on the weekend. It takes a lot of pre planning to have dinner I can throw together or warm up within 15 minutes of getting home.

Thanks, PP! I also realize I posted this in the wrong forum. We also have an exercise and fitness forum—oops.

For years, I have tried to find fitness classes in the afternoon but they don't exist. I guess I just wanted to put that here, that I am sad about this. I understand it's the least popular time for people because most people work but for those with flexible schedules who might want to take a class at 2 pm, have you found anything?

My body doesn't like to jump around in the morning but 2 or 3 pm is ideal for me and it's the dead zone so I just do my own thing when I can motivate myself but classes would be more motivating and I'd be more likely to do it.
