Right,I'm getting a 14% chance at William and Mary for a kid with a 3.3 and a 1270 SAT. NO WAY.

Collegevine was pretty close for my DD.

She got into one reach of her 6. Targets did a little worse than expected. Safeties all acceptances.

Wouldn't a 30% chance of admission be a reach, not a target? That's a low chance.

Target:
54%- accepted

Likelies:
80%: accepted (I would've said this was a target)

Thank you so much for this data point! I would love it if people posted similarly. I would have thought not to even waste the money on a 10-20% but maybe that’s bad thinking. Do you feel like your kid had an extra oomph that CV wouldn’t have know about?

Seems like the underpredicted your DC in targets and reaches, but were right on safeties.

Our lesson learned was fewer safeties/targets were necessary. We applied to too many schools LOL because it is so unpredictable and we didn't hir a private counselor and were confused about what was possible. All in all, we are very happy!
