Also get thyroid levels checked. Hyperthyroidism can present with similar symptoms.

Not sure who to look at the iron, but I would see numerology for a tourettes screening. My son with similar symptoms was diagnosed in high school.

Have you ever had genetic testing? If you want to start from the bottom up maybe go with that. Ken Rosenbaum at CNMC is a gifted clinician. See him before he retires.

I would rule out hidden toxic mold in the home (ERMI+; Envirobiomics)

Hello,
14 yo DS has extreme motor restlessness, pacing, jumping, making odd noises, inattentiveness, and insomnia. We and providers have always chalked it up to the AuDHD diagnosis/stimming and that may well be it, but I have also just learned his iron levels are very low (one or two tics above what would be anemia on the LabCorp scale) and I'd like to have this looked at. Are there pediatric hematologists, sleep specialists and/or neurologists who might consider the possible role of iron deficiency in their evaluations and treatments for behaviors? MoCo area preferred and Aetna insurance preferred, but open to any.
Thank you!
