Enjoyed The Measure and Yellowface, and thought Atonement was meh. DH really liked The One, so I'll try that one. I've only read Jodi Picoult's last novel about Shakespeare, which I really liked, so I'll try her other ones and the other recs.

OP I'm one of the PPs and if you liked The Measure definitely check out The Poppy Fields. I read The Measure and listened to The Poppy Fields because I really like that narrator, not sure if that had anything to do with it, but I think you'd like it.

I also read Julie Chan Is Dead, which I thought was going to be like Yellowface but fell quite flat. Some of it was fine, and it's an easy read, but it wasn't as good, in my mind.

Have you read Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow?

p.s. I really like Chris Bohjalian too, so I'll look at his others.

The Measure and The Poppy Fields are both by Nikki Erlick and aren't ethical dilemmas per se but have interesting premises and "what would you do" scenarios

The One is similar, I can't remember the author but it's a DNA test to find your perfect match

John Marrs I think

Chris Bohjalian has some books with ethical dilemmas, there's one about a homeopathetic doctor who prescribes a tincture and someone dies and Midwives and another one dealing with a shooting

Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry

I do not plan to read this book due to the subject matter, but it’s about a mother who discovers a horrible secret about her teen son and the ethical dilemmas that follow.

That, and women-in-peril are her kinks.

I think that is Jodi Piccoult's whole schtick.

I haven't read Jodi Picoult in a long time, but this was her whole thing for a while. Not sure if it still is.

I really enjoyed Culpability and would love to read another book about an ethical dilemma at the heart of the novel. And/or any other AI fiction.
