At a private school? Our school doesn’t charge anyone for student performances.

I think it’s fine to charge and fine not to go because they are charging.I am sure most teachers have other things to do in their personal life.

Our school every game, play, musical performance, etc is 100% free for everyone. Ridiculous to charge.

Depends on the school and the teacher's relationship with the school/theater program. Some charge for everyone, some never charge a teacher, some play favorites. There is no rule...

Tickets to our school’s fall play and spring musical are $7, up from $5 the previous two years. Even the teachers can manage that.

Yes current teachers and former teachers are charged (if there is an admission price). The parents are also charged because 70k a year doesn’t include your own kid’s musical.

Current teachers should not be charged, that’s tacky.

Does your school charge teachers to see students’ performances that occur after school hours?
I volunteered to drive some retired teachers. Are they usually charged?
Thanks.
